Although this painting is not Christmassy, or even seasonal, it is actually one of the miniatures which Dad painted for the annual family Christmas card one year. The miniature is a replica of a larger painting of Shoreacres Road in Fairmont, MN, Mom's hometown.

The autumn roadway scene is also from 1948 Fairmont a half mile south of the winter scene. I still felt that I was on my honeymoon, and it showed in my artwork. The original hangs in our bedroom hallway.
